The Varlots ride the tides into a new Pirate Renaissance: original, infectious music that binds together humor, theatricality, and musicianship. They can be bawdy and irreverent one moment, and the next they’ll sing a song that sounds centuries old, but was written yesterday. Above all, they will transport you to a time to a place you’ve never been, and then likely abandon you to go wenching in the tavern…
