Long Description:
We've been running Call of Cthulhu at Gen Con for decades and like teaching people how to play. During this event, we will briefly talk basic rules, characters, horror role playing, and then we will run a scenario. We run games that focus on story, character interaction, and problem solving. While other types of play style are welcome to come, we usually find that communicating our style really helps set our players in the right mindset. In the short scenario, the players with portray investigator in the normal world solving a seemingly normal (if unusual) issue. The layers of reality are peeled back as they discovery cosmic horror just beyond the veil of society that must be thwarted for the good of all humanity and for their own survival and sanity.
