You had a plan, just not a very good one. But it was the only one you had. You had a ritual, freshly translated and ready. Or ready enough, you thought. You were all desperate enough to try it and something went wrong. As you look as what remains of you and your desperate attempt to keep the vile minions of something beyond the stars in check, you wonder to yourself, how much worse could it get? A lot worse. Set in the 1920s and includes topics of death, loss, and failure. If you "have to come out on top" in a scenario, this probably isn't the adventure for you.
