The Basilica Cistern. Underneath the streets of Istanbul, the ancient well silently sits, carp swimming idly in still waters, surrounded by pillars and the blind staring eyes of the Medusa statues, there stands the Weeping Pillar. Every other pillar is dry as old bone, except for the Weeping Pillar, where the water appears to flow upwards from carved eyes. Hades has whispered in your ear that the time has come to bring down the Pillar, and free the 7,000 souls sacrificed to create this sacred place - no matter the cost to the city. LGBTQ+ friendly.
