One month ago, a cargo ship, the Orca, vanished en route to its destination somewhere along the treacherous, deadly coasts of the Peninsula. You have been hired by a lodge of Magientists—often secretive scientists who practice an advanced foreign science—to investigate the fate of the vessel and recover its contents. Your investigation now brings you down to the small coastal village of Luad... What awaits you there? This is an introductory adventure to the medieval, Gothic world of Shadows of Esteren.
