Daring Do has led an expedition to an ancient, ruined city in the wilderness of Yakyakistan, only to return weeks later, alone and half-insane, with no memory of what transpired. Twilight and her friends must rescue the rest of the expedition and find out what happened, but little do they realize that there is far more at stake, for an ancient evil is about to be unleashed that may just doom Equestria, and the rest of the world with it.
