For more than 100,000 years, the splendid empire known as the Ascendancy has ruled over the entire galaxy, but now noble feuds and secession struggles mark the beginning of a new dark age. When the science vessel Clarity of Thought disappears while investigating a mysterious signal from a black hole, the heroes are sent to find out what happened . . . and what exactly has been forgotten. Pregen characters will be provided, and you don't need to know the rules--we'll show you the basics while playing through an exciting adventure.
