A local city councilman has hired the party to rescue his kidnapped son. It appears a rival noble
has taken the young man hostage as leverage on a voting issue and is also demanding ransom
for his safe return. It is believed the noble has hired a savage brood of thugs to hold the captive
and see that the terms are met. The councilman's son must be rescued by nightfall before the
council votes.
