Location:

Long Description:
Gaming groups ask diverse people -- including strangers -- to play together in close proximity. With publishers requiring game night and tournament hosts to be responsible for vetting players and facilitators and the heightened awareness of #metoo, Codes of Conduct for gaming groups are more important than ever.
This workshop is designed and run by a pioneer in Codes of Conduct and safety tools in North American gaming communities, including larps, conventions, and online spaces. Working from a template she designed to help you hone what your CoC should contain, she will walk you through choices and language to draft a CoC for your group. Enroll in her other workshop, Enforcement & Internal Procedures for Codes of Conduct to complete the work. This workshop helps you draft the CoC; the companion workshop helps you determine what to do when the CoC is violated by an attendee.
