Long Description:
In our board gaming community, there are so many shining stars that provide knowledge and opportunities for us to learn, laugh and connect. However, there are many times the stars are dimmed because of their experience, background and sometimes just because we don't want them to shine because there are too many shining already. In this workshop, we will be learning how to incorporate DEI - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices in the board gaming community. Discuss the biases of the board gaming community in the past and present and work towards solutions on how we can make our tables a safer space for all.
