Long Description:
The isle of Atlantis, your home, is sinking. Will you be able to save your people in time? Atlantis Rising is a co-operative worker placement game. Work together to place citizens across your homeland, gathering resources to build a cosmic gate that can save your people. Every turn, players draw misfortune cards that flood the ever-shrinking Atlantis shoreline, or that otherwise undermine your efforts to save your people. You must race to gather the resources to build the gate, before the island disappears beneath the waves forever.
With Monstrosities, the gods call forth monsters to further hinder the Atlantean effort. But new powers also emerge to save the isle. Game will be played with the expansion, including the following scenario: Medusa Unleashed, in which the gorgon Medusa turns Atlanteans to stone. Can you break her curse and recruit her to your side?
