In Burglars' Guild, players act as shady merchants and collectors using the services of the secretive Burglars’ Guild. Each player aims to amass the greatest collection of valuables by paying the Guild to burgle various prominent locations. The player who ends with the best loot will be the envy of their entire underground society. This game uses a unique “Dutch Priority” auction system (fewer than 10 games credited with this mechanic on BoardGameGeek) which requires players to plan a series of bids in advance and then deal with the effects of other players’ choices on those bids. This is a late-stage prototype copy and will be taught by the designer, a member of ProtoCLE from Cleveland, Ohio.
