Newfaire has become generally peaceful over the years- or so it seems. Behind the scenes, the members of Candela Obscura have continued their constant vigil, confronting occult horrors and keeping hidden the true nature of magickal incursions besetting our world. When another mystery arises, an old circle is called back together- The Circle of Wires and Whispers.
The people from the poorer parts of New Faire are disappearing. No one knows where they have gone, and those few who manage to be found don't seem to live very long. Its up to the Circle of Wires and Whispers, as well as their illustrious lightkeeper Gloria Summerfield, to investigate the mystery and figure out who or what is taking these people and for what purpose...
