Welcome to Riverbend, West Virginia - well, at least what - and who - is left of it anyway. The truth is friend, our little town is in a bad way. The crops failed us, the mighty Isla River is more like a creek, and folks are being called home to rest. It ain’t like we haven’t faced these disasters before. But this sickness, now we never had such visit our holler and homes before… and folk are getting scared; real scared, friend.
Tragedy is never too far from the shadow of the mountain. It waits for it, and it always gets its due.
Step into 1850s Riverbend, West Virginia, in this unofficial LARP inspired by Old Gods of Appalachia. This custom setting will take players through the shadows of the valley, into the heart of the mountain, and into deep woods around Riverbend to discover the secrets of this besotted town always down on its luck.
