Long Description:
Arsenic & Lies is a great introduction to LARPing for new players for the same reason people who've LARPed a lot might like it -- there are almost no rules to learn, and there are no hard and fast goals or winning.
LARP is sort of like a tabletop roleplaying game or improv -- you're playing a fictional character, and you say what they say and do what they do.
Arsenic & Lies is a chance to dish hot Victorian gossip about your family members and the local townsfolk while trying to keep your own nose clean! Is it true? Maybe! Is it fun? Yes!
Characters will be chosen there, and we'll establish a couple of relationships, goals, and secrets characters might have then. There's nothing to memorize ahead of time, but if you'd like to come in costume, I'm sure everyone would be amazed. It's definitely not required though.
