Folks, welcome aboard the North Star Express with service from Newport Tennessee to Cincinnati, Ohio. It’s not the fanciest of passenger trains, but she does the job just fine. Along with our passengers, we are hauling four cargo cars with us, so the ride may be a little slow, but we’re sure you’ll enjoy the ride through the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Ride the rails as we roll into the 1930s somewhere between Newport and Knoxville Tennessee. As the modern era and the past collide in this unofficial LARP inspired by the popular podcast and tabletop game Old Gods of Appalachia by DeepNerd Media and Monte Cook Games. Will you get to your final destination, or will your story go off the rails? The woods and valleys hide secrets, but so does this northbound train as we try to make it out of the shadows and mist of the mountains.
