Not everyone in a pirate city is a pirate. And some people are plotting more than piracy. There are smugglers, thieves, practitioners of dark magic, the whole gamut. And of course lots of people without "dark" in front of their occupation, folks just trying to get by. And then there are visitors from far off lands - very far off. What do any of these people want? Just to survive the day. That, sad to say, may not be easy. Costumes enjoyed but not required. All people are celebrated here - we have no tolerance for intolerance.
