Characters include an ace pilot, a research scientist, a grifter, an illegal alien star marine, and a survivalist. Character resources include a decommissioned star fighter, a beater of a tank, a starship that isn't jump worthy, their wits, and all accomplishments they can carve out with their own spit and gumption.
