The Crown was merely the key—the true horror lies beneath. The retrieval of the Ember Crown awakened an ancient entity sealed away by the last dwarven king. The Catacombs of the Ember Throne, hidden deep below the ruins, house something beyond death, bound in molten chains. The party must now descend even further to undo the damage wrought by their previous expedition. They will encounter the ghostly remnants of the dwarven civilization, face corrupted fire elementals, and ultimately battle a primordial entity seeking to break free. The choices they make will determine the fate of the vault—and possibly the world beyond.
