Aspenthar, a city with a rich and storied past, holds many secrets beneath its shifting sands. The Pathfinder Society has sent the PCs to aid an archaeological expedition, but what starts as a routine dig quickly takes an unexpected turn. Strange discoveries, buried dangers, and rival interests threaten the excavation’s success. Will the PCs uncover the truth hidden beneath Aspenthar, or will history remain buried forever?
