Long Description:
In the dimly lit sweatshops of 19th-century Boston, a group of women have had enough. Under the watchful eyes of their overseers, they slip into the shadows, planning sabotage and rebellion in the dead of night. But as their whispers grow louder and their defiance takes root, they stumble upon a chilling truth. The fight for freedom is no longer just about wages and hours—it’s a battle against something far more insidious, lurking in the very fabric of their lives. Will they rise, or will they be swallowed by the unseen forces that seek to keep them bound forever?
("A Tale of Bread and Roses" is a scenario written and facilitated by a female creator, which prioritizes and celebrates femme perspectives. While all are welcome to participate, the focus is on amplifying the feminine journey. We warmly invite ALL femme-identifying individuals to take the lead in telling this story.)
