A scholar has hired the PCs to retrieve a long-lost artifact from the depths of the storm-ravaged Sodden Lands. But as they wade through flooded ruins and tangled swamps, they soon realize that the artifact’s history is more complicated than expected. Legends whisper of a vengeful spirit that haunts these waters—are they just stories, or is something lurking in the storm? The PCs must tread carefully to recover the artifact and escape with their lives.
