Dr. Auriana Bottensphere, one of the most renowned medical doctors in the Capital of Halinghamweald has been kidnapped. She was taken as she returned to the upper city after working at a charity clinic she maintains in the Stews. In the course of her kidnapping, a well-known sergeant of the watch was slain and another injured. Now the embassy of Viodrons, her country of origins, is putting your group together to try to uncover the culprits and free the doctor. Rumors about the involvement of secret societies abound. While players are not required to play both adventures, they will enjoy the game more if they follow this game with Imperial: the Kidnapping II.
