The Ruin brought to an end so much of humanity’s endeavours, but perhaps none so much as its yearning for exploration. With the befouling of the oceans, sea travel became impossible, and knowledge of the world outside atrophied into nothingness. Lord Tybalt Dara means to bring an end to that! No expense has been spared in the creation of The Horizon’s Edge, the first vessel ever built to withstand the wasting decay of the Ruin depths. Lord Dara has declared the target of the first journey to be the Isle of Avelmere, a royal retreat from a bygone age. Journey into the unknown, and discover lost secrets of the Ruin world, just past the edge of the horizon!
