1st-4th level adventure. Morgan Rechis has found the missing codex of the Aphotic. Except things don’t go as one might hope. Others have learned of his impressive discovery and seek to benefit from what the codex can provide. When Rechis returns to his home in Somnolence, the codex thrums to life after centuries of dormancy. In doing so, it calls forth something evil. The tiny village is about to face an invasion from something that is beyond their comprehension. Can a group of adventurers who just happen to be in Somnolence when the mists of fate roll in stand between the Aphotic and their ability to plunge the very nation into war?
