Styk. 3135. The HPG network is down. BattleMechs are rare. And the Republic of the Sphere, which seemed to be the best hope the Inner Sphere had for peace...has failed. The Capellan Confederation has now taken control of the planet Skyk, resulting in a presence of security forces. Those forces are looking for something or someone which is causing many on world to feel uneasy, especially those that have shown interest in BattleMech warfare. The characters feel as if their every move is being closely watched until a chance encounter may save them...or condemn them.
