"The rain falls heavily from the overcast heights of the Royal Plaza Hotel. Like the rain, so did Ashley Lind fall the distance from the light-bulb-studded letters at the top to the marble plaza below. What was she thinking, in those last moments? Was she hoping a miracle would happen and she’d fly away? Was she done with the world? Did she think of someone special? No one will ever know.
Soon, Ashley will be an ever fading stain, gamblers in tuxedos and nights gowns walking all over her. And she’ll be forgotten. Maybe that’s what she wanted. But your crew is not going to let that happen. Something dark happened here. Ashley was a part of a greater story, a living legend, like you, hidden by the rolling city smog. You look up to the towering front of the casino, not knowing what awaits your crew inside except the one thing you're after -- the truth.
