Long Description:
Rogue Trader Vendet Corbin of House Vonice has led his dynasty for many years, when he is personally conscripted by the Lord Regent to transport a critically important package. The destination is secret, and the stakes are immense. Along the way, Corbin becomes the target of numerous assassins, forcing him to seek armed escorts. The reasons for the attempts on his life are uncertain: some believe they stem from his connections to criminal organizations, while others argue his flexible, non-dogmatic approach places him at odds with the Inquisition. It may be both—or something far more dangerous tied to the contents of the package itself. Whatever the truth, Corbin must survive long enough to escape Ultramar and complete the delivery. Failure is not an option, as the fate of Ultramar itself hangs in the balance.
