Long Description:
The desert southwest is a land of vast skies, near-alien plant life - and when you give the Impala a break to make sure it doesn't overheat, a stillness so quiet it almost makes your ears ring. Your group of hunters is on edge, and none of you can say quite why.
The town of Two Pines twenty miles down this two-lane highway should have a little more life. There'll be townsfolk to chat with while you stretch your legs, snacks for your dwindling supply, gas enough to get you to your next hunt. Maybe there'll be some tourist trap to visit, like an old mine or hot springs or old west kitsch. Maybe you'll be able to truly rest here after so long on the road.
Surely Two Pines won't be as abandoned as the rest of the desert.
Surely the whisper of the wind won't be the loudest thing in town.
Surely the first folks to greet you won't be corpses.
Surely your next hunt hasn't found you.
