The scholars of Candlekeep have detected an anomaly along the trade route to Chult. Ancient texts reference a place in these waters, but as quickly as it was glimpsed, the text changed before the scholars' eyes. You've been dispatched to find answers. Sailing there was the easy part; the stars shifted, and something drew you down into a place that was forgotten on purpose. Now you're somewhere deep, somewhere wrong, and the way back isn't as clear as it was an hour ago. Set in a homebrewed Forgotten Realms off the Sword Coast, this one-shot features nautical adventure, classic dungeon delving, and cosmic horror. Streamlined 5e rules with pre-generated 3rd-level characters and all materials provided. Players receive a keepsake handout with the adventure overview, their character sheet (pre-generated) and sample ceramic hex terrain tiles.
