Long Description:
Have you heard of Jubensha, the murder mystery social deduction game sweeping across East Asia and beyond? In this game, players roleplay as detectives and suspects in a fictional crime, each with unique stories, motives and methods, all while working to uncover evidence and deduce the hidden murderer. Think of it as a blend of Cluedo, Among Us and Werewolf, with deeper character development and case complexity! Join us in this panel to explore the Western origins of murder mystery, Jubensha’s rise in East Asia, and how KMS Games is bringing the craze back to the West through original English-language games. We will talk about how Jubensha differs from traditional murder mystery dinner parties, how you can get involved hosting and playing Jubensha, and even share some of the juiciest moments from our favourite Chinese Jubensha games.
