This workshop brings long form improvisational techniques to help players create character backgrounds quickly, develop their characters in play, and make decisions which can lead their characters to places they might not otherwise have considered. Mikel Matthews has been doing improv since 1995 and is the founder of Illinois State University’s Improv Mafia and the Abe Froman Project. His youtubechannel, Confession of an Improv GM, and twitter, @ImprovGM, give advice and techniques about incorporating improv practices into RPGs.
