Two existing games, Scythe and Expeditions, are combined for this head-to-head 2-player duel. One player uses the Scythe rules and components (including a new faction and player mat); the other player uses the Expedition rules (including a new mech, character, and companion). All existing Scythe factions and player mats (along with most encounter cards) plus all existing Expeditions mechs, characters, and companions (along with most discovery cards) are compatible. Likewise, the components in Scythe vs Expeditions are compatible with Scythe and Expeditions.
